Brian Scofield is a filmmaker living in Los Angeles, California.  This is his web site.

Scofield attended the University of Notre Dame, where he studied philosophy and literature in The Program of Liberal Studies and double majored in Film, Television, and Theatre.

Brian returned to his hometown of Austin, Texas in 2003 and began working as a director of photography on several independent films and volunteering for the Austin Film Society.  He went on to work as a camera assistant for filmmakers such as James Marsh, Richard Linklater, and Terrence Malick. 

Eager to follow his passions and see his own vision realized, Scofield founded Over-Soul Films in 2005.  His films have played around the country in a number of major film festivals.

Brian recently accepted the opportunity to join the University of Southern California's graduate program for film production.
