Life can change in a heartbeat. 

A young man kicks his broken-down car and sets off down the country road.  A convertible drives by.  A beautiful woman rides in the passenger seat.

The young man waves down the next vehicle that comes his way. The beat-up truck pulls over and lets the hitchhiker in. The driver is a grizzled farmer.

"Did you see a woman and a man drive by in a fancy car?" he asks the young man.

"Yessir. They friends of yours?"

"That woman's my wife. I'm going to put a bullet in her head."
