BACKROADS post production update (November 27, 2007)

PERSONAL DELAYS
It's been a long few weeks.  Life has been full of surprises and events, some good and some rather difficult.  I'll be writing more about it all in the next few days.  Updates have been even less frequent due to my transition to Leapord on both a new desktop system and my laptop.  I lost all my graphics editing software and other smaller problems that have made it difficult to update the site as much as I would like.  But now I have both the time and software to improve and update the site, and I'm looking forward to doing so.

DELIVERED FOR SOUND
Mark and I dropped off BACKROADS to Chris yesterday.  He's working away at the sound design.  Mark and I are going to make a few minor adjustments to the editing tonight.  Color correction begins tomorrow.  I meet with Kristina tomorrow to discuss music for the final credits and a few other places we may add it.  It's looking great.  Soon it's going to sound great, too.  SXSW deadline is December 7.  We hope to have it completed by the 3rd.

NEW PROJECTS BUDDING
Tracy and I are rolling around some ideas for a new project or even project(s) dealing with body image and gender roles.  Really, they're more exciting than that sounds!  One is a narrative and another is a bit more experimental.  More on that as it develops.  I also have a couple new short stories that I'm adapting (as soon as I get my screenwriting software back up and running!).
