BACKROADS post production update (November 29, 2007)
Yesterday was an exceptionally productive day on BACKROADS. Mark and I got together and really scraped through every cut to make sure everything was as smooth as possible. We made a lot of small but ultimately important improvements, and found some solutions to a few little moments that had bugged the perfectionist in both of us. Additionally, David has begun going through every shot and started color correction. David takes stills into Photoshop, makes adjustments, and then Mark makes the corresponding changes in AfterEffects. I'll get some "before and after" pictures up in a few days. The difference is quite striking.
I met with Kristina last night and she had some great suggestions for music. I have a couple options for the final song that I'll have Mark and Chris put in, and then we'll decide which one works best when viewed in the context of the entire film.
I've been working today on making some changes to the web site. I've updated the online store a little and am working on new art for the main page.
