Photography
My newest "hobby that I don't' have time for" that I've begun to dabble in is digital photography. My recent purchase of a Nikon D-80 was the first big step, and I'm currently in the experimentation phase. I've taken a few good shots and a lot of bad ones, but I'm gradually getting better. I'd like to take a class down the road to learn some formal techniques. Where does it stop? I need to learn all the ins and outs of my camera to begin with. Next there's lighting and then there will be photoshopping (with some many more things in between). Ah well. I'm content now to have a good camera capable of taking good pictures and to have a way to record some of my life, my travels, and the things I see. I'll share some of the somewhat presentable ones as they come along. Photography is a powerful medium that I've always appreciated and now look forward to attempting to participate in.
